The Incisive, Universal Meditation of Trippers and Askers

We’re giving a warm Sleepy Cat welcome to Trippers and Askers, the project of contemplative songwriter, guitarist, and ethno-musicologist Jay Hammond. His music evokes the sensation of gazing into the high-desert horizon, only to wake up and realize you’re actually on an unfamiliar moon, watching the orbit of ocean planets. If someone makes a “Left Hand of Darkness” movie (please let me know if there’s already one in existence), we can only hope that Jay is hired to compose the soundtrack.
