2025's Road To Sleepy Fest

Hello internet, long time no see!  We’re beyond excited to be announcing The Road To Sleepy Fest, a series of free events presented by Sleepy Cat and Groovewagon leading to the 4th annual Sleepy Fest Music and Arts Festival on Saturday, October 11th in Saxapahaw, NC.  We will be featuring some artists we love who aren’t able to perform at Sleepy Fest, so even if you have your tickets to the big show, you’re still going to want to come out.

On Friday, August 15, Delver performed at The River Room in Saxapahaw.  Delver put on an entrancing fully improvised performance, interweaving groove and melody into a lush ambient soundscape.

On Thursday, September 4, we’re hosting a Hopscotch Day Party from 1 PM to 5 PM at Slim’s Downtown Raleigh which will be featuring Gibson & Toutant, SunSp.t, Owen FitzGerald, and Lonnie Walker.  

On Friday, September 20, DJ Magic Al will be DJing at the Fuzzy Needle in Durham.  There will also be experimental visuals by Heron Toe, and an old time jam with Sonya.

On Friday, October 3, T. Gold will be performing at the Eno Arts Mill in Hillsborough at 7 PM.
